A new crochet kit
Let me introduce my Sparkly Crochet Necklace kits.
These sparkly, delicate, beaded crochet necklaces look fantastic and couldn’t be easier to make. I designed these necklaces for new and beginner crocheters to try in mini-workshops. But, you know, more experienced crocheters didn’t want to be left out: everyone enjoys making them!
And why not? I’ve selected lovely combinations of beautiful beads and fine cotton crochet threads so you can make a gorgeous sparkly crochet necklace.
You’ll find kits in 10 beautiful colours. I had a lot of fun choosing the best combinations.
The kits use fine cotton crochet threads; like those used for doilies.
It may take a while to get used to crocheting with fine thread. However, for this project, it really doesn’t matter if your stitches are uneven. Most people will be amazed that you made this necklace and have no idea how you did it!
The necklaces will be approximately 110–140 cm long depending on your tension and the number of stitches between each bead.
Each necklace kit includes:
- an instruction sheet,
- crochet thread,
- beads.
The instructions explain how to thread the beads onto the crochet thread and how to crochet with the beads.
The only technique you need to know is how to make a crochet chain (tutorial coming soon).
You will also need:
- 2.50 mm crochet hook,
- a flat container with sides (such as a lid from a coffee jar or tin),
- sewing needle & sewing thread.
