I’m launching some knitting kits soon and I shall be selling them as well as paper copies of my patterns at two Christmas craft fairs.
Craft in the City
The first craft fair is Craft in the City in Waterstones, Bridlesmith Gate, Nottingham 10 am–5.30 pm Saturday 30 November and 11 am–4.30 pm Sunday 1 December.
Art and Design Christmas Fair
The second craft fair is the Art and Design Christmas Fair in the Bonington Building, Nottingham Trent University 5–8 pm Tuesday 2 December and 10 am–6 pm Wednesday 3 December. All the designer-makers here are either students or alumni of NTU.
New kits
The kits include simple Fair Isle lavender bags and pincushions; here are previews of the Hearts pincushion and Flower lavender bag. Each kit contains the materials to make two lavender bags or pincushions.
Fun with Colour kits will also be available. These contain selections of mini-balls, cards for making yarn wraps and some ideas for using them. There will also be a kit for a new knitter to make a simple purse to use for knitting tools: a pair of knitting needles, yarn scissors and yarn needle will be included as well as the yarn, zip and fabric to make the purse.
