I signed up to this course with my sister as a Christmas gift and what a wonderful course it was! Nicki is an excellent teacher and with clear step-by-step instructions, all materials and knitting needles, I really enjoyed learning how to knit (and actually did!) It was great to be able to make a complete project and we are definitely going to return for the next level class 🙂

I really enjoyed the tuition, the company and, of course, the amazing cakes! Highly recommended!

    • Being Knitterly

Thank you Jo! It was great to see you progress from the ‘all fingers and thumbs’ stage to knitting a variety of stitches and those characterful rabbits. Well done!

  2. Marie Bonsall

My sister bought me this course for Christmas and I’d thoroughly recommend it for beginners; we’ll be going back for the improver’s course later in the year. The setting is lovely and very personal, ensuring you get plenty of instruction. Both Nicki and her husband are very welcoming; the cakes and flapjacks were delicious. It was both fun and relaxing to learn to knit during this course.

    • Being Knitterly

Thank you Marie! I’ll have to keep a record of which cakes I bake for each class so I can make different ones each time! I look forward to seeing what you make before the next class.

  3. Angela (verified owner)

I started the course with absolutely no experience of knitting. Several stitches, a rabbit, some lovely cakes and three weeks later, I am planning to knit my first scarf. Great value for money. Looking forward to the ‘Improvers course’.

This was a fantastic course. I couldn’t knit before and my New Year’s Resolution was to learn. Now I have the confidence to embark on a project to knit a blanket. I will return soon to learn to crochet. Thank you Nicki.

    • Being Knitterly

That’s fantastic Jackie! A blanket is a big project; I’m looking forward to seeing it in progress and finished.

  5. Amy (verified owner)

I had very limited knitting experience prior to completing Nicki’s fantastic beginners knitting course. I would recommend the course to anyone who wants to learn how to knit. I thoroughly enjoyed learning how to combine knit and purl stitches in different ways to create different knits. I can’t wait to apply what I have learnt to a project at home. I will definitely be attending the knitting for improvers course in the future.

    • Being Knitterly

Thank you Amy, I’m looking forward to seeing what you make!

  6. Bridget

I have just completed the beginners classes and have really improved in confidence with my knitting. Will be going on the improvers course. Thank you Nicki I have enjoyed the experience and will be returning to learn more.

    • Being Knitterly

Thank you Bridget, it was great to see your skills and confidence increasing during the three classes.
